Piskel Work
Lately during manaiakalani we have been using this site called piskel, piskel is a digital computer app that you can use to design characters with blocks.. To personalise the objects you can make the blocks smaller or larger and that changes the effect of it.Learning about lots of different learning tools and apps is so fun to do. I made a turtle but you can really just use your imagination to create! 😃😃

Lockdown 2020 persuasive essay
As you all would know we are now in lockdown level 3. Since numbers have significantly dropped since about 2 - 3 weeks into lockdown the rules have been relaxed a little bit. The fact that you are able to expand your bubble but just add a couple more people to it is amazing!
With all of the borders shut with only slim exceptions for people to be able to come back into New Zealand from overseas there is a small chance that there is going to be any more big clusters! Personally I think that is an amazing idea and fully support Jacinda on that rule.
One thing that I don't fully agree with is the fact that fish and chip shops and most takeaway shops in New Zealand are open. Also including cafes, cake kitchens, and some butcheries. Me and my family don't agree with that because you are still in contact with the people that are supplying the food. Plus the people that are making everyone's food or drinks could be breathing or touching it.
Me and my family love going for a bike ride or a walk even just a play outside for a while to get some exercise. It is so good that everyone is allowed to get out of the house for a little bit every day to get some fresh air and some exercise. And now in level 3 you are allowed to get out and go for a drive to a place near to where you live! I enjoy it so much and so does many other people!
And those are my opinions about lockdown and how its working for me at the moment in level 3! I am just taking every day as it comes! I hope you enjoyed reading along to my thoughts about lockdown level 3.

Blogger Starter
This is my blogger starter that we created during manaiakalani, using an app called wevideo. We video helps to create cool and edited videos with text and filters. You can upload pictures to create different effects and add sounds to create a cool vibe. There is to options you can choose to upgrade to a premium/ you have to pay for it or you can just sign in with your gmail/email account and use the free elements to the app. You can record what you are doing on you device with your voice. Or you can just have your face and have no volume and you can voiceover it! We video is such a cool app with so many different features that makes such cool videos/edits.
Here is a link so you can try out we video yourself ...

Our Digital footprints
Lately, we have been learning about our digital footprints and how to keep ourselves safe when using the internet/being online with other people. When you post something you might to like, lots of people could see it and screenshot it and then have it for the rest of your life and they might choose to send it to people and when you think it's gone they still have it. So when you delete something that doesn't necessarily mean that it has disappeared forever because it will still be on the internet and that is a really scary thing, so be careful of what you post because it can haunt over you forever.
