Term 3 division and subtraction reflection.

Term 3 division and subtraction reflection.

My strengths for the first test were I was able to check the answers with an algorithm which would help if I got the answer wrong.

What were my goals for the first test? My goals for the first test were finding  efficient strategies that I had a strong understanding of to work out tough equations that I was unsure of.

What types of learning worked for me? I liked working on the mat in pairs and working it out in front of each other in workshops. For example we would share our different strategies to find one that we had a strong understanding of. Also I like learning in a quiet environment.

How did I receive feedback on how I was going in subtraction and division? I posted A little bit of my learning on seesaw for the teachers and other students to see and help me stride towards my goal.

What did I like what the teachers did and what did I dislike that the teachers did during the workshops? I liked that the teachers let us sit on the mat and show each other our strategies to learn more of them for ourselves. I disliked that the teachers gave us only a short amount of time to work out the answers.
